Ethiopia planted more than 350 million in 12 hours on Monday July 29,2019 which officials believe is a world break record. The program is part of the Ethiopian government target of planting 4 billion trees rainy season. the planting was part of afforestation campaign named ” Green Legacy ” spearheaded by the county’s prime minster Dr Abiy Ahmed, millions of Ethiopians across the country were invited.
